When I applied to graduate school to get my MFA Degree in photography, I tried to visit each university that had accepted me in their program. When I went to visit the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, I parked near the Art Department. As I stepped from my car I noticed something fluttering near my head. I quickly reached up to grab whatever it was and came back with this Hawk Feather in my hand. I looked up to see the Hawk that had lost this magnificent feather and there was just open sky. I knew instantly that this was the program and the place for me.
