Sascha the Great |
Guerillera Alexandria |
The Magnificent Ghost |
Rowan the Red |
Sascha, the Rhodesian Ridgeback/ black Lab/? x, introduced me to dogdom and has been my happy, loyal girl. Her muzzle is now grizzled but she is still a bundle of energy and loves to go through her obedience paces -- shhh -- play her games ....
Sascha is enjoying having someone to play with!
My darling Malamute, Alexandria, was adopted from Texas Alaskan Malamute Rescue, an organization in which I have become interested and somewhat active. Visit Alaskan Malamute Rescue to find your perfect dog.
Ghost is evidence that I failed Fostering 101. He being an emotional wreck, it took lots of time and patience to win his trust. He went through the excellent training program at Canine Headquarters and is theoretically adoptable to a very special person who would be willing to work with him to overcome his abusive past, but I've come to love him and so here he'll stay. He is still somewhat dog aggressive and dislikes Rowan intensely. Ghost and Alexandria play together the way Malamutes should.
Rowan is the latest addition. He's a red Malamute, still thin as a rail. Rescued by Linda and Scott from Brazos animal control, he's my big galumphing clown. A freestyle course has helped him find his big ChD feet, and he loves to play with both Sascha and Allie.
